Munchkin: 2024 Sustainability Report
Agency: Monks
Client: Munchkin

A Paper Trail for Positive Change is the 2024 report from Munchkin (a brand specializing in toddler and infant products) documenting their achievements in sustainability. The company has made commitments to sustainability, such as planting one million trees a year, rehabilitating the Savannah Forest to help protect vital migratory species, and cutting back on plastic in their packaging.
My role was to collaborate with fellow illustators and designers to create this PDF document. First by compiling moodboard options to determine an art style with the client. Then wireframing and sketching layouts, curating and selecting different treatments for the variety of information. After illustrations were created, I assembled them along with typesetting the provided text. Full PDF is available live on Munchkin’s website (with later edits by client).
The visual direction is tactile and textural, referencing the malleability and structure of paper. It utilizes the whimsical and childlike aspects of the brand by building the information with layers and pieces of paper textures.
