This poster was part of an exhibit in Échirolles, France, celebrating the Polish design tradition, specifically circus posters. The subject was completely foreign to me as an Arab designer. The inspiration came from the bold circus "cyrk" typography of the circus posters, as well as Polish designers who designed their own posters of foreign films, adapting them to their own language and vernacular. The cyrk lettering was made by paper, with all the letters connected, in homage to the connectivity of Arabic.
